My nail

What about it?

I was just putting Ethan away for his afternoon nap when he took my fingers, look at them and said “Mum, your nails are so long. You have to cut them. And the shape looks like an arch”. Hahahahahaha!! I never expected this kind of conversation to come from my own son. We don’t speak like this when we were young but what makes kids these days so special, or you could say, smart? I don’t know, maybe it’s the formula that they drink or it is the way they are being brought up, being exposed to many factors.

Anyway, how have all of you been doing? I hope all of you had a great Christmas celebration with your family and friends. And the Christmas sales is here!! But remember, times are bad now, spend wisely.;)

Talk about spending money wisely, I’ve splurged on a few bargain items last couple of days! I know I know…………………. I’m feeling a little guilty now but the bargains were just too good to resist and I’m definitely sure they’re a great savings when I tell you how much I got them for ok?

Here’s what I got:

1) 3 hand towels, 1 bath towel, 4 pillow cases, 1 bolster case, 1 King size comforter, 1 comforter cover and 1 bedsheet, all are from Aussino and they cost about S$120!! They are on 40% – 50% discounts and of course the hubby paid for them. LOL! Didn’t I tell you they’re a great bargain?;)

2) 2 working skirts for 30% discounts.

3) An external 250GB hard disk for S$89.

4) 8GB thumb drive for S$27.

5) Last but not least, I finally got myself a ZUTTER Bind-It-All for 25% off the shelf from Made With Love!! It’s a Christmas present I got for myself! Woohoooooooo!!

I’m so happy with this purchase but I was like an idiot, not knowing how exactly this thing works but dear Marcus from the store, was so patient in explaining how the machine works. Thanks so much Marcus!! You’re a darling! Ok, here I am showing it off here!:)

And most of all, I’ve received the most wonderful gift from MWL, thanks to Elvira, Swee Ching and Sandra for personalizing the Calendar. Even the hubby was impressed with how it was designed with our name personalized on it.

Thank you once again.

I was laughing out loud yesterday when I received an email from Irene, asking me why haven’t I posted anything about my trip back to Malaysia last week and she sounded so darn cute! LOL!

Hey girl, I’m so lazy right now I could hardly lift my fingers. I was on a week long break, I came back, went back back to work for 3 days and I’m on a break again until next Wednesday!! Can you believe that I’ve been working non-stop and so damn hard for the past 8 months and finally now I’m having so many days break, I felt so restless I don’t know what to do.

I’m not complaining though. I have the luxury of waking up past 10am, with the hubby and the son, leaving me to rest as much as I could. They’re such sweet boys. And I have more time to spend with the hubby and Ethan, chatting non stop for the past week. I seriously do missed them and now is the time for me to give them all my attention.

And I want to share some pictures with you I took of Ethan on his first maiden flight to Malaysia. Yeah, it was his first time on the plane and my oh my, he was so excited he could hardly contained his excitement when we were in the departure terminal and in the plane. Though it’s only about 40 minutes flight time, he definitely had a great time.

He was giving me this painful smile again, as if saying “Taking pictures again Mummy?” LOL! LOL!

p1120355

He was like this through out the flight, trying to catch a glimpse on the view from above the sky.

I finally managed to get him to relax.

I was trying to clamp him down for a mother and son only picture! Phew! It was definitely a rare piece of photo. LOL!

I’m sorry I have to say that these are all the pictures I took. I fell really ill for the few days while I was back home. Can you imagine that I lost 4kgs in the period of 4 days??!! Yes, that’s right. I looked like a scarecrow I had a shock myself when I stood in front of the mirror and saw how thin and haggard I looked.

I’m doing fine now, still a little ‘leftover’ of cough but it’ll go away in no time.

You know what? I haven’t touch my scrapbooking stuff on my work table for the past 2 months and a thick layer of dust has formed. I cleaned them and I think I’m ready to start scrapping again. I’m not sure if I could do it but I’ll just try to enjoy the moment.

I’ll leave you for now to enjoy some quiet time with your family.

Have a great weekend and until next my next post, soon I hope, take care!:)
