It's the little moments

that make life BIG.

How true it is………………..When I think about the time that I spent with my family and friends,  all those moments may seem a little insignificant at times. But when I think back about them, it just flood my brain with memories that are totally priceless. And those moments always put a huge smile on my face.

Just take a look at this picture of Ethan which I just scrapped into a page, it’s priceless. The picture itself says a thousand words.

How can you not love a child like him, who constantly makes you laugh and makes you wonder, how lucky you are that he is part of your life. I do.

He makes me beam with so much pride. He makes me happy. He makes me want to be a better person, more than anything else.

Looking at how much my dear precious son affects me in a lot of way, expecially emotionally, I’m giving myself a little challenge. I’m not much of an album person, and I’m always in awe with people who creates wonderful & sentimental album filled with stories about their life, people and things that they love.

So, I’m going to start, however late it may seems since it’s already the end of February, an album which will be broken down to a few “series” about the journey of our lives with Ethan from now. It’ll be very much a day to day basis stories and recording of his growing up years. I’m not only doing this so that he’ll be able to learn more about himself but also to remind us about “what, when and where” of the happenings when he’s growing up.

Many of us would think that we’ll remember clearly when exactly our child had grown their first tooth, crawl, took their first step or say Mama or Dada, without recording it in some sort of a journal (unless some of you diligently do that). The fact is that many of us here don’t remember the exact date. We don’t, not because we don’t care. We don’t because we thought that we could remember without writing it. I’m one of them.

So, I’m going to start writing about it. It’s better late than never. 😉

I hope this gives you some thoughts to ponder over the weekend.

Have a great time! 😀

What a fun lo, Leena! I love the idea of documenting life’s little moments. My sons love flipping through my scrapbook albums for there were so many little moments that we all forgotten. There was a page with daddy catching dragonfly, a page with the queen ant they caught, a page where my no. 3 first time cycling on a 2-wheels bike, pages with words they said… I love scrapbooking!!

I love this layout Leena – the detailing is stunning!! I miss your little boy – hope to catch up with both of you one day when I’m not so bogged down with goodness knows what. Haven’t scrapped either but have been sewing and knitting. 🙂 Take care!
