3 hours worth of sewing

and I’m one happay gal!! LOL!

It all started like this……………….

Morning was spent at the East Coast where we dropped Ethan at the children’s playclub. The hubby and I had the luxury of having a quiet time at Starbucks, sipping away our coffee and reading papers. Sigh………………… (that was a sigh of contendment) Occassionally, we checked on Ethan and he was obviously having a great time, totally forgotten about us.

And of course when we got home, our young friend knocked out cold into a few hours of nap. And then, it all started…………………

It was raining cats and dogs and I had such a kick sewing into the afternoon. After 3 long hours, I produced these……………..

This one is for me.:D

Recently, my team girls, Joey, Ariel and myself each bought a hard drive to back up our work data. Joey and I had our lappie infected with viruses a month ago and we nearly lost all of our data. But luckily, we managed to retrieve them. We decided it is high time we back up our years of hard work. The hard drive comes without a cover, so I decided to make one for myself and also for the 2 girls.

And I hope they like what I made for them.;)

Gosh, the colours are just gorgeous, aren’t they? I bought those felt from my last business trip to Tokyo and I’m so glad I’m putting them to good use. The fabrics are from Amy Butler which I bought from Etsy. I love all of them!! I think I’m going to make more stuff in time to come.;)

Anyway, I’d like to thank all of you for your warm wishes on my last post. And I’m excited to start writing articles and working on the projects.

I hope you’ll have a great week ahead of you!:D

Gorgeous! What a perfect idea. Ours sits on hubby’s desk for now, then will go into the safe just in case. I should make a cover- but maybe that would be too “girly” for him. LOL
