It’s the time of the year again

when everyone is taking a break and going for vacation, wrapping the year up with lots of Christmas shopping, having loads of parties for family and friends and blah….blah….blah…..So are we. 😀

We’ve just completed our shopping for a Christmas tree and ornaments and finally…………..we’ve set it up yesterday! We really had a wonderful time, doing it together as a family, which includes our helper. She’s already part of our family. 🙂

We sat in our living room all day and night long, just gazing the tree in contentment. It’s just beautiful to us. lol….lol…. This year is Ethan’s first time setting up the tree and we are hoping to cultivate this festive season in him so he’ll grow up to love celebrations like this with open arms. We have to say that he’s taking in this well and totally excited about it! Well……….he has to be because he was busy re-arranging the ornaments again and again until we have to stop him *laugh*.

So, our next plan is to start shopping for our family and friends gifts and it’ll be done day by day. The list is definitely long but I’m sure we’ll enjoy it. The crowds at all the malls are building up fast and we have to brave through them with an open heart, no sweat! 🙂

So, I’ve started my shopping on Friday, bought lots of SB papers to make cards and will send them out soon. In fact, this will be my first time making Christmas cards, a history in the making! Hahahahahaha!! I always buy them, year after year because I’m just too lazy to make any. But I’m in a high spirit mood this time, so I’m taking the chance and effort to make them myself. I just hope it’ll turn out decent enough to send them to my family and friends. Let’s just say I’m hopeless when it comes to cards but I’m trying, for a change. The cards will definitely be simple. Most important thing is, it comes from the heart, right? Yeah, just making myself feel better. 😉

So, are you making anything special this Christmas for your loved ones? Share them with us.

Anyway, as I’ve promised in my last post to give away some goodies to 2 person who put in their comments but sadly, there’s only one comment. So, one of the giveaways will go to the only one……………

Ee Bing

We will always put up a HUGE Xmas tree about 2 metres tall! But this year we’re spending Xmas in Osaka! Gonna play at Universal Studios before Singapore’s open. So guess we’re not putting up a tree this year. Presents remain though. haha.

Ee Bing, thanks for sharing with us your Christmas plan this year and I hope you’ll enjoy your holiday in Osaka! Please email me at leenaloh73[at]gmail[dot]com and I’ll get out the goodies to you. 😀

Now I’m left with the other giveaway and I’ll post something again this week to give away the goodies. Just a token of appreciation from me for your constant visit to my blog.

I’m off to making my cards now. Have a great evening and week ahead!
