I’ve been doing a couple of weeks reading and research in getting a new lens for everyday stuff, portrait and indoor shooting under very low lights. The last lens that I got for myself (doesn’t count the recent Christmas gift of 28-135mm lens from the hub) from my own pocket was my Tokina 12-24mm wide angle lens, which I bought about 15 months ago. I’m very happy with my 50mm f/1.8mm II because this lens has helped me captured amazing shots for the past 2 years. I’ve been playing with my Canon 400D for more than 2 years now and my 50mm 1.8 lens was the only lens I have with me back then. The lens still works amazingly well and in very tip-top condition because I always keep it in my dry box when it’s not in use and I always takes good care of my things, be it camera, lenses, phone, etc.
And I feel that after 2 years, now is the right time for me to upgrade to the next level. So, the 50mm f/1.4 USM is my best choice. Here’s my new addition to my lens family.
I don’t need a two 5omm lens now, so I’m selling away my Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lens for S$80.00 (not inclusive of shipping fee). I got it at S159.00 and now I’m selling it at half the price. So, if you’re interested, please email me at leenaloh73[at]gmail[dot]com.
I can’t wait to play with my new baby soon! (actually, I’ve played with it a little earlier and it’s amazing!)
Oh, before I forget, I’ve posted my photo-a-day under my “Project365″ page. Pop by if you like to see what I’ve taken today.
