Sorting

That’s what I’ve been doing for the past few hours on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Weather is fantastic, it’s raining and the cool air is making me all sleepy. But I need to sort out my leftover flowers which I’ve bought from Bangkok before the mess gets worse. I think my helper has been silently wishing that I could have sorted them out sooner. *laugh*……………. She has been patiently cleaning my scraproom and not complaining about my overloaded stuff on the floor (she needs to move them one at a time to clean the floor). I’m sorry Sofia, I’ve been just too lazy to move my butt!;)

And now, after storing my flowers in glass jars, the floor is pretty much cleared but I still need to work on it. I made a trip to Ikea last night and got more baskets and glass jars for storing my loose items. The shelf looks more organized and neat. But I need to make another trip because I didn’t realized I’ve got so many small flower buds that need to be stored away! Geez…….. talk about hoarding.:D

After cutting off the wired sticks from these

I stored them into the jar like this

I filled out 3 jars to be exact for all these little flowers buds. The big flowers are almost all sold out except the unpopular colors, which I’m keeping them for myself. I need another 2 jars for that! Where am I going to store all these jars??!!!

That means I need to use them more and maybe give away some more. How about that?:DWell, don’t forget to post any of your layouts using flowers in my previous post here to get a chance to win some flowers from me. You have until tomorrow to do that ok?

Hope your weekend is as good as mine. We’ll be off to my friend’s place for dinner later and hope I can start taking pictures again. I am sooooooooo slacking in my photography projects for the past 2 months. It’s totally non-existant as far as I’m concerned.

Before I signed off, here’s a picture I took of a bunch of roses dear hub got me on my birthday last week.

It’s going to be posted in my Project365 gallery. Gosh, I’m so ashamed that the gallery is becoming a ‘white elephant’. It died of a painful death since 2 months ago. But I told myself I’m going to work on it again and I’m going to do it at my own time and pace. As long as I complete it in 365 days, it doesn’t matter how long it takes.:D(I hope I’m not taking it more than 2 years! lol…lol…..)

Have a great weekend!

I love all kinds of paper flowers and I have to admit I have a big stash but your stash is a bit bigger than mine. I need to get my hands on more flowers!! LOL!

Love all the bright colors you have!
