For my March DT tutorial at Hambly, I made this simple hanging mobile, using some of Hambly Screenprints papers. I chose some of their bright and cheerful colors and I love the outcome of this mobile! And Ethan said so too. 😉
Please hop over to Hambly’s blog to read the simple instructions on how to create this hanging mobile.
You know what? I just realized last night that I’m now into my 4th year of blogging in April!
Sheesh, time really flies! I remembered that exactly 4 years ago, I was a still a ‘virgin’ blogger and I have no clue and idea where this blogging thing will lead me to! And here I am 4 years later, I’m still around keeping my blog alive. As much as I wanted to make my blog livelier (which I’ve neglected the past couple of years) and revive it every now and then to make sure whoever pops in and read my posts or check me out will want to come back again, but…………….. I have not been very successful in making this a better place to visit. 🙁 I know for a fact that there are ‘lurkers’ who always visit me here but remain not to say hi (maybe you’re too shy) and some who always come in and leave me warm messages. Having said that, THANK YOU so much for taking time to come in here and I really do appreciate that. 😀
Family and work have taken the front seats and they are and will always be my priority. As Ethan gets older and entering P1 this year, much of my time are spent ensuring that he’s coping well in school. My focus is not so much on his grade but making sure he can complete his school work and getting on well in the new environment (this is not a problem since he’s a super friendly boy and very enthusiastic about school! *laugh*) based on his psychologist advice. Well, what I can say for now is he’s doing great and as he gets older, his condition has improved dramatically. I’m now able to enjoy a proper and fun conversation with him without him going off track on the topic like he used to 2-3 years ago.
I have to give myself and the hub a big pat on our shoulders because we made that possible by putting in a lot of effort to make sure Ethan gets early intervention and all our love and support. And we have to thank our family, close friends and his school and teachers for their concern, understanding and support as well. Past few years weren’t easy for any of us but I guess over time, we became a better parent and Ethan is the reason for that. We used to take things for granted when we were singles, married with no kids just yet, that life will always be smooth sailing and with no hiccups whatsoever. But then again, we went through on bumpy roads together and we hang onto each other over the years. And looking through the difficult times we went through, I am so glad it makes me a better person, as a woman, daughter, wife and mother. And I’m also glad that the hub guided me as a friend over the years, showed me the right path, opened up my mind and strengthened my character. I thank him for that.
Anyway, I’ll keep my thoughts for another time and since I’m celebrating my 4th blogging anniversary, I’m planning to pop by Scraplicious this weekend and bring home some new SB goodies. And these goodies will be given out as GIVEAWAYS!! 😀
So, come back again in a couple of days time and check what I have for you, ok? 😉
