I love my life to be less complicated.
And I make sure that I whatever I take on or do, it will be the simplest way , ever!
So, how do I make life as simple as it is?
Well, I try to live a simple life, I eat simple & healthy food, I make & keep friends who simply love and enjoy being with me, and I’m glad I was born in a small town where people are much simpler and friendlier.
So, the foundation of my character was molded in the simplest way and I’m just happy I grow up to be who I am today.
Some of the simple pleasures that I enjoy in my life is to have my dear friends over my place, just hang out, eat, laugh and share.
I do love having friends over any time and I appreciate that they take time to come over.
And my dear friend, Winky popped by my place yesterday just to hang out. We went for a haircut, we came home to savor my helper’s delicious home-cooked dinner and we shared what we know about using our new MacBook Pro (yes, coincidentally we both got them for Christmas last year! ;)), we shared about what have been going on since we last met, she shared stories about her recent trip to Europe and I shared about what I have been up to and are planning to do in the next couple of months.
I truly enjoyed that 6 hours of simple activities with Winky, which means a lot to me.
And here are some photos we captured when we spent that precious hours catching up with each other.
I took this image with my phone (and enhanced it using Instagram) after we got our haircut in my car just for the fun of it.
And since both of us agreed we looked tired with thick eye bags under our eyes we decided to put on the sunglasses to camouflage our eyes! *laugh*
And we played some more with our Photo Booth in our Macs. Ethan joined in the fun and we goofed around making funny faces! lol!
And I wonder what in the world are the 2 of us (both our age added up to 75yrs old!) trying to do, laughing and giggling in front of our lappies! *laugh* But we had great fun in the simplest way! She didn’t even know that there’s a Photo Booth application existed in her Mac so she was really glad I shared it with her and we made full use of it!
And I love how Ethan entertained me with these shots! I enjoyed my day with my friend and at the same time, I get to be near my family and they had fun too.
I think I need more of these precious times dedicated to my family and dear friends, who appreciate simple moments like this, without having to splurge to go on fancy restaurants or hang out at the malls. And I know for a fact that only a handful of my friends who share my passion for simple things in life. I truly love you for being who you are and for making effort to make our friendships work the in the best possible way.
Thank you for your friendship!
Oh, before I forget, I played some more with the album templates that I shared on my last post.
So, here are a few more that I made using some old photos I took over the years.
Simply love these templates and it’s worth every penny spent!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I do!
