In my 15 years stay in Singapore, I rarely venture to the west side of Singapore even though it’s only less than an hour drive from the east, where I’m currently stay. I’ve been residing in the east of Singapore since the day I stepped into this tiny island and I’ve never been happier staying here.
But there’s something I’ve always missed out staying in the east. I do enjoy seeing the sun rise most days and the lush green landscape that covers most of the east coast. I rarely get to see the actual sun setting and right now, I commute to my new work place in the west, I begin to enjoy the view of the beautiful horizon when the sun sets in most evenings when I knock off work.
While walking from my office to the place where I parked my car today, like I always do for the past 2 weeks, I caught a glimpse of the sun setting between the trees and I stopped immediately on the pavement, whipped out my iPhone, took a shot of the view and uploaded to my favorite Instagram.
It’s beautiful, isn’t it? 🙂
I’m beginning to enjoy my 10 minutes walk everyday to my office and back to the car park. I’m just praying hard that I don’t get caught in the rain as the weather has begin to change lately.
This will be the only thing I look forward to from the west side of this tiny island.
I hope your day is as good as mine. 😀
