The days leading up to Chinese New Year has been absolutely crazy. There are preparation to make to usher the Lunar New Year, last minute shopping to do right up to the eve of the new year, spring cleaning for the home, getting news clothes for my boy (we decided to recycled our previous years clothes since we wore it only a couple of times *laugh*) and other errands to run.
I managed to sneak in here to share my week 2 Instagram images.
Here are my shots taken last week, with lots of my regular daily activities. Most of them are taken over the weekend as I’m tied up at work during the weekdays.
One of my work outfits last week. I like to dress down sometimes. The weather here can be extreme at times, either rain & chilly or super hot and humid.
Oh, don’t mind me here. I was just trying to be funny capturing myself in the car when one of the days my hub drove me to work instead of me behind the wheel. It’s so nice to be the passenger and be driven for a change. 😉
This vintage camera came in after I successfully bidded in e-Bay for a very small amount of money (very cheap!). It’s a Kodak Duaflex II. But I’m not sure if it is in working condition.
My top favorite in my entire range of camera collection. Very faithful, reliable and a top notch performer. 🙂
Ah, the weather in Singapore.
Sun setting near my place when I was driving home from work. Yes, I had one hand holding the wheel and the other snapping this shot! If I get arrested for using the phone while driving, you should know why. *laugh*
Some patches of clouds that looked like cotton balls or cotton candies or whatever you can think of.
And here are some sneaks of what I made for both my besties, Ally and Jan.
A visit to the nursery to get decorations for the home and some flowers to brighten up my place.
And for the rest of the weekend, I was busy catching up with Project Life and all.
That about sums up week 2.
I hope you are happy Instagram-ing like me.
I’m not sure if I’ll be back blogging before the Lunar New Year and in any case I’m not, here’s wishing all my Chinese friends and readers a Happy & Prosperous New Year filled with Good Health & Fortune!!
GONG XI FA CAI!! 😀
