Project Life | Week 13 Twenty 12

Project Life | Week 13

Hello All! Welcome back to my Project Life update.

I’ve been on a 1 month hiatus and I truly regret I wasn’t able to post this earlier than I wanted to. A lot has been going on the past few weeks, 99% good happenings of course.:DAnd I finally managed to drag myself out of my busy-ness and continue with my Project Life update.

As March passed quickly and so did April and now May is already into the 4th week from tomorrow, before you know it, half of 2012 will be gone. It has been an amazing 5 months, in project life context. I’m so thankful to have joined this journey with many more project lifers around the world and through project life in short 5 months, I’ve met and made many wonderful friends online. It’s amazing how people from different parts of the world, sharing common passion and interest can come together as one, all thanks to the internet.

I do wish to continue project life for as many years as it allows me to. And I also wish one day, I will get to meet other project lifers from the other parts of the world!:)

So, here’s my Week 13 spread, filled with loads of goodies from MME, Crate Paper, Silhouette Cameo cuts, Dear Lizzy, washi tapes, In A Creative Bubble journaling cards designed by Geralyn Sy, and my very own chevron printable cards.

The left page of Week 14.

The right page of Week 14

I have also included an insert for this week, a review of March to wrap up the month. This time, I decided to do a photo collage of some of my pictures I documented in the month of March on a 6″ x 12″ page protector from Becky Higgins. I got the protectors from Scraplicious, the South East Asia and Japan distributor for Project Life products.

Here’s the front page of the collage which I added AC Thickers alphas and letter stickers from October Afternoon for “March In Review” words at the top of the page.

And here’s the back part of the insert, another collage of more photos from the month of March.

If you like to know how I made these collages, you can read my simple tutorial HERE and HERE.

And here are the close up view of each pocket for both left and right pages.

Well, I’m truly proud of myself for finally posting these spread! *laugh*

And I’m even prouder that I managed to complete 90% of my Week 14 pages today! Yay! I just need to add journaling and finish off with machine stitches.

Hope you’re coping well with your project life. Even if you’re weeks behind just like me, fret not. We will catch up eventually. Sometimes our lives are just caught up with unexpected events along the way and we have to make arrangement for things which requires more attention and priority. That’s life. We just need to move with the flow.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my spread and I’m looking forward to coming back soon for my next update on Week 14.

Thanks so much for making time to visit my blog and have a great week ahead!  :)

I was so delighted to see you back with new pages! I was going through withdrawl, thinking I was going to have to finish up my own weeks without any inspiration from you! I am glad to hear you have been busy in a good way. I feel like your mother (my children are just a bit younger than you) and was worried that you or somebody else was sick.

Question – what brand / product are those rectangular / circular stickers that you wrote “30 Mar” or “View of Jakarta ….” I live in Jakarta and am looking for them for my PL. Love your spreads. Thanks also for introducing us to Geralyn Sy’s printables. Where do you buy acid free white cardstock in Singapore (to print those printables) and how much are they please? Tx!

  • FindingnanaSeptember 22, 2012 - 10:51 pm

    Hi Sha-Rin,
I’ve been trying to find which brand was the sticker I used but I can’t remember where I got it from my stash! I’ve got too many stickers I’ve lost track of them.
I usually buy my white card stocks from Scraplicious, our lss. It cost about S$1.20/sht. And sometimes I buy them from our local art store at Art Friend in big sheets and I cut them up to few sheets.
