I think I’ve ever received such a big scare in my entire life!
Yesterday while I was at work, close to calling it a day at 5pm, my dear hub texted to inform me he was admitted to the accident & emergency ward after he felt his chest tightened , became breathless, weakened and broke out in cold sweat. He was quick to get his colleague to send him to the hospital right away and only after a couple of hours later he broke the news to me.
A lot went through my mind at that moment when I received his message. How serious was it? How did it happened all of a sudden without a warning? Will he be ok? Is he having a heart attack or stroke? Many more questions went through my head as I was driving like a mad woman to the hospital.
So, to cut the story short, I got to the hospital, was brought to see him and he was then checked into the ward to rest for the night. I came home after I made sure he was all settled, put up a brave face in front of my son, mom and aunt who was visiting. When I got to bed, I just couldn’t help it but broke down, worrying about everything, and praying so hard that he will be alright.
And this morning I got a call from my hub and it was confirmed he had a mild heart attack. At his age of 46, he’s definitely young to have one but I guess it can happen to anyone at any age.
Anyway, he’s going through the angiogram procedure right now to check if his arteries are blocked and if yes, they have to be ballooned. So, I’m now praying very hard he’ll have speedy recovery and be well again soon.
Thank you once again for all your warm wishes and prayers! I’m grateful for your concern and well wishes. It comforted me in every way.
At this moment, I may not respond to any emails immediately, so please bear with me for a little while more. For those of you who have ordered items from my Etsy, I will get them out as soon as I can once I settle my hub.
Here’s a snapshot of Rainer ready to go in for his procedure earlier at noon. As of right now, I have not heard any news just yet, so I hope all will go well for him. Please continue to keep him in your prayers, I totally appreciate that.
