Home Sweet Home!

Hello Everyone!

I’m finally back from my trip after more than a week’s absence! It’s good to be home!:D

I’ve truly missed my family very much and I hope I can settle down in town for a while. I flew home from Jakarta on Thursday and it took me 2 days to recuperate from the trip. My body was in a bad shape so all I did since I came back was rest. I finally caught up with lots of sleep (God knows how many hours!) and today I felt I’ve returned to my old self again. Well, that was a quick one for my age! *laugh* I replenished the loss of fluid in my body and I finally had proper home cooked meals (haven’t had one for exactly a week!). I got pampered by my mum who is on town to make sure I get back on my feet quickly. Thanks mum, love you!:D

And so, what’s been happening around here the past week since I was gone? Any exciting and juicy news that I need to be updated?

I realized that the first four days when I was away, I completely lost touch with whatever was going on, locally and globally. I didn’t get a chance to read the papers or watch any news on tv in my hotel room. All I did was work, work and work and by the time my head hit the pillow in the night, I got knocked out cold until morning! Yes, my days were like that whenever I’m out of town.

I’ve read some awful news 4 days later after the massacre in the theatre in Colorado, United States, my heart and prayers go to the victims, their families and to the people of United States. It was not the kind of news I have hoped for when I turned on the tv days after my trip. It was quite painful to watch and absorb. Even though I’m thousands of miles away, I feel for the victims and their families. Once again, my condolences to everyone in the US.

Though my trip was very exhausting, I had a great time meeting up with my folks in Kuala Lumpur and had lots of delicious meals every day for 7 straight days! *laugh* That’s the consolation to my tired body and mind. I enjoyed eating and this is the only time I could feed my body with anything!:D

Here’s an overview of my week long trip to KL and Jakarta.

I think at least half of the time that I’ve been away was spent on eating! *laugh*

Our customers have always been very gracious, hospitable and spoil us rotten with great local food, which I’m not complaining.;)

Anyway, I have a lot of catching up to do. I need to get this blog of mine working and updated more often, like it used to be. I’ll be planning ahead what I’d like to share here and also, to revive my almost non-existant Project Life!:(Seriously, I don’t want it to die a painful death even though I’m about 3 months behind! Yes, you heard me right. I’m exactly 3 months behind but it’s not bugging me, really. I know I’ll catch up eventually, it’s only a matter of time.

Oh, just another update, I’ve re-opened my online shop HERE. So, please feel free to browse around. I’m hoping to be able to give another update on new items soon, maybe a few weeks time.

Once again, thank you so much for visiting my blog constantly to check if I’m still here. Thank you for sticking around. I truly appreciate your time!:)

Happy Weekend my dear friends!
