Project Life | Week 51

Project Life | Week 51

I’m back again to share my Project Life Week 51. After trying to use up my Printshop stash on two weeks spread, I’m still left with quite a bit of things that I can still use. Imagine how much I can make use of the  Printshop collection! 🙂

Here’s a close up look of the left page.

The alphas that I used on the title card is my favorite AC Thicker “Notebook”. And the rest of the embellishments are leftovers from my previous Studio Calico Project Life kits.

More than often I love to use Thicker alphas to highlight the name of a place & restaurant I’ve frequented. If I use them on my card, I’ll keep it minimal by adding a label and a couple of stickers.

I think for the past few weeks spreads I’ve been trying to clear my chipboard alphas stash and used them up almost on every other cards! *laugh* Here’s another one that I used on the word “Pho” using AC Thickers Fellow.

And that ‘nom nom’ foodie stamp from Marks & Co add-on kit Woolf has been over-used again and again whenever I have photos of food. The add-on is sold out and I’m afraid the stamp itself which was sold during Studio Calico last call sale is also completely sold out. 🙁

And here’s the right page of the week.

Can you see that I’ve included more AC Thickers here? I just cannot get enough of them and I would encourage you to try using them on your Project Life pages. 🙂

I didn’t journal on the bubble speech from Vellum Die Cuts but instead I adhered AC Thicker “Notebook” and Punctuation Cork Shape Thickers on it.

And more Thickers!!

The bubble speech from Vellum Die Cuts is another favorite item of mine from the Printshop. I used Uni-ball Signon White pen for the journaling, another favorite pen I got from my local art store. The Sketchbook charcoal alpha is from Studio Calico’s previous Snippets collection. It’s not available in SC’s store anymore but you can still get it at Two Peas here. 🙂

That’s about it for this week. I think I’ll give Printshop a break after using the collection for three consecutive spreads. Oh well, you wouldn’t know I may use it again…….. soon! I hope Studio Calico will re-stock some of the out-of-stock items, I would definitely buy them again. 🙂

Anyway, I’m happy to announce that I’ve officially completed my Week 52! Yay! I’m so thrilled that I managed to persevere and complete the year, with of course a lot of weeks behind and then getting caught up eventually. A big pat on my shoulder! I’m also hoping to make a closing page for 2013 and I’ve already got some ideas what I’d like to do. I hope I’ll be able to share it soon together with my Week 52.

I hope you’re still going strong in catching up with your Project Life or you have already completed yours earlier. Well done to you!

See you soon and have a great week ahead!

Which thickers are the ones you used to put the word “factory” on the card on the right page? I’m in love with them, and have been desperate to try to find them without any luck. Thanks!

Just love it, like always! 🙂

I’m crazy about that stamp saying “nom”, can’t find a shop in Germany which is selling this 🙁

    Hi Tiffany,
It’s actually from Studio Calico’s previous collection Snippets (a year ago) and it’s called Sketchbook in charcoal but I’m afraid it’s no longer available in SC but you can still buy it at Two Peas here http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/shop/studio-calico/138848-charcoal-sketchbook-snippets-printed-chipboard-thickers/. 🙂

I love the clean/white look to your pages. It’s something I am going to try and incorporate for my 2014 album. Do you just buy the PL plain white cards and use those? Also, I would love to see your 2014 title page 😉 As always, I love you work! Thanks for posting!

Hello, I have just found your blog and love your Project Life style. Watched your videos about 2x each, awesome!!

I had a question though, when doing the next weeks pages, do you start with fresh new journal cards or do you do them right on the back of the ones there already?

So happy your enjoying PL and have found what works for you. I’ve been doing them since day one and can’t imagine life without them now. Makes keeping our memories so much easier then the scrapping I used to do.

Thanks so much for sharing and for the fun videos, keep them coming please!
