Project Life | Week 3
Thank you all for your kind warm wishes sent through messages and emails. I’m feeling a lot better now and I had a good rest over the weekend. I definitely need more of that kind of rest-and-no-work days, it definitely helps me to recuperate quickly.:)
So, here’s my Week 3 that skipped last week as I’ve not photograph them earlier.
I decided to go monotone for this week’s spread and a lot are focused on the photos and stories. A little touch of gold, just the way I like it.
I decided to use Fave 3×4 journal cards by Paislee Press as the base cards for my spread this week. I had this printable cards even before I joined the CT and I was really glad I finally put them to good use.
You’ll notice that I’ve been consistently using wood veneers on my PL spreads. Just because they’re my number favourite embellishments. Hah! I’ve amassed quite a good size collection of wood veneers, mostly from the Studio Calico kits I received the past two years, bits and pieces from Freckled Fawns and the most recent Gossamer Blue On My Desk wood chips, like the one above of heart speech bubble. And Liz Tamanaha of Paislee Press happened to be the designer of that collection. How brilliant is she!
The cork arrow is my own DIY accent. I used Ali Edward’s stamp and stamped it on DCWV 6×6 Adhesive cork sheet, cut out the shape and it’s ready to be used. Easy peasy!
Oh how I love ampersand and this Teresa Collins Studio Gold AME – Instagram Project Life card by We R Memory Keepers is perfect for my page.
The ‘great times’ words are cut with my Silhouette Cameo and it’s from Love Words Cut Files by Wilna Furstenberg.
I’ve been loving a lot of white space on my PL spread for a while now. So this page was put together mainly with just photos and Paislee Press Fave 3×4 journal cards.
The card right at the top was a blank card that I stamped with Ali Edward’s Daily Story Stamp and added my own journaling. The gold alphas are from My Mind’s Eye Necessities Words and Sticker Sheets. I believe it came in one of Studio Calico’s PL kit months back but I can’t exactly remember which one.
I included more wood veneers on the other Fave cards, a mix of alphas sticker to complete my spread.
I’m also printing photos from Collect app that I exported out in 3×4 format. Still loving how easy it is to include a snapshot and journaling on the app.
That ‘oh, hello’ sticker is from Evalicious Talk To Me Puffy Stickers.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my spread and if you have any questions, feel free to leave your comments in this post.
Have a great month of March ahead!
