Project Life 2015 | Week 5

Project Life | Week 5

I’m kind of trying to catch up with sharing my Project Life as often as I can but with my work travel that just started again last week, I found it to be more challenging. I took a little longer now to recover from my traveling schedule compared to when I was younger. Hah! Age does make a difference how fast I could tune back to my routine when I’m back home. Oh well, I’m not complaining that I’m getting to travel too much, I just wish that I’m 10 years younger. *laugh*

So here’s a look at my Week 5.

Processed with VSCOcam with s3 preset

This is probably one of my favourite weeks I’ve put together. I’ve used quite a fair bit of everything in this week’s spread from Heidi Swapp Project Life Gold Foil Value Kit, Studio Calico Far Far Away Project Life Kit and other bits and pieces from my own stash.

I cut the HS Gold Foil 4×6 card to 4×4 to fit the Design K page protector pocket for my title card and added a piece of the ‘date’ chipboard from the Gold Foil kit as well.

The ‘LOVE THIS’ words were stamped onto one of Studio Calico Far Far Away Project Life Kit cards and the stamp is from Ali Edwards first Story Stamp Prompts.

I did some stamping directly onto my photo using Ali Edwards Photos Stamp Set. I’m a BIG fan of her stamps!

Both the die-cut labels are from Studio Calico Color Theory Labels collection. I seriously can’t resist all the gorgeous colors so I’ve got the full set of 22. The one I used on the photo of Ethan is the Gray Area and the piece on the journaling card is Clean Slate.

The gold mini triangle and star chipboards are from HS Gold Foil kit.

Have I mentioned before how much I’m loving this October Afternooon Daily Flash Pocket Sleeve with 16 of 3×3 pockets? 😀

I could say this again and again in the next few years and I won’t ever get tired of this protector’s design.

This page has a mixed of Heidi Swapp Project Life Gold Foil Value Kit and Studio Calico Far Far Away Project Life Kit.

I trimmed all the 3×4 cards to 3×3 and insert the cards in alternate pockets with my photos. You cans see what I meant in my full spread above.

I’m so loving the coloured diamond chipboard that comes in the HS Gold Foil Value Kit. I wish they have like multi pieces in each size!

The pink camera chipboard was from the Essential collection and I placed a piece of the pink Color Theory Enamel Dot to make it popped. I still have many sets of the enamel dots collection and they still remain as one of my favourite embellishments that I use on my PL.

Did you see that neon pink card?! I think I need like a 1000 of them! And the gold polka dot and mini hearts cards too! Heidi Swapp really nailed this kit. I love them so much I’m so careful not to use them up so quickly. *laugh*

That dog card from SC’s Far Far Away PL kit is just perfect for my princess Belle’s photo. Seeing her sleep all the time with her little tongue hanging out, she’s really having a “RUFF” life! Lol.

I’ll be sticking around in the next 5 days before I head out to Kuala Lumpur for a meeting and tradeshow next week. But before I leave I’m planning to pop in here again to share my first post on my workspace (way overdue post!). And yay to Monday and Tuesday as I’ll be taking leave to spend some quality time with Ethan since he’ll be having a week school break starting tomorrow.

Have a great weekend ahead!

Hi! I was wondering where you get your Project Life page protectors from. They aren’t that common and are a wee bit expensive so I wondered if you have a good deal for them (:
