I’ve been busy lately and will busier in the next few weeks until end March. My schedule for the month will be like this

- business travel to Bangkok for 4 days

- upon returning, the next day I’ll leave for Malaysia for a scrapbook teaching stint for 3 days (feeling excited about this!!)

- after the day I arrive home, I’ll be leaving for another business trip to Brunei for 3 days

- the week after I’ll be back in Bangkok again for another 4 days

- will be taking a few days break and I’ll be celebrating my Birthday at 37! Geez, time really flies………really NOT looking forward to 40!

There, these traveling will take up the month of March and I hope I’ll have a little breather in April but it really depends. New financial year starts in April and there’ll be lots of new programs taking place, so I don’t think I’ll be having any free time for at least another few months!

On the other hand, I’m in the midst of planning with the hub on our trip to somewhere to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary!! 10years already??!! It’s been that long? :D I’m truly excited about this one! And I can’t wait for the day we’ll be in the place, which we have not planned yet. *laugh*

We have a couple of places in mind.

Krabi, Thailand (Gorgeous beaches! I could do with more tan! lol….)

or

Cambodia (I want to see the amazing Angkor Wat!! Would love to take loads of pictures!)

or

Maldives (been there a couple of times but putting up in a nice island resort would be awesome! Thinking of Club Med Kani ;) )

What do you think? Which one should we pick?

If you’ve been to Cambodia or Krabi, please share your experience with us so it would help us decide which would be the best place for us to celebrate our anniversary. :)

Well, before I knock off, I’d like to share my layout which I made for the Pink Paislee’s Thursday Trend that I posted in their blog yesterday. My write out was about glimmer mist and here’s my page

I love the idea of spraying glimmer mist onto a mask and creates a background that looks like a patterned paper to me! Here’s how I do it

I sprayed mist over and across the punchouts negative

And then I outlined the misted background with a black pen.

And lastly, I added embellishments to finish the page!

Thanks again for popping by my blog and hope you’ll have a great weekend with your family!

  • You are really busy lady!! Take care and have fun over the 3 day class at Malaysia. As for ur Holi with hub, I will chose krabi, lovely beaches and really romantic :) btw, how do I do the photo on your blog header? The orchids colours are so vibrant…

  • sounds hectic…but its great that you’ve got something to look forward to… this layout is Fab… definitely unique… I think Maldives is beautiful… whatever, wherever it is… have a well deserved break! :)

Another great page, Leena! Love how you created your very own patterned paper, so whimsy and fun!

I just started using glimmer mist this way and I like how it looks.

Leena, Krabi is a total waste of time. Super unromantic and commercialized. But I would (very super highly) recommend this little island off Krabi called Koh Lanta. And stay at the resort called “Layana”. You can Google it. Unfortunately it has a no kids policy but I don’t think you will bring your kid for anniversary rite? :)
