My new 'Baby'!

I’ve just got a new ‘baby‘!! Or should I say, my hubby got it for me!! Yes, darling, it’s true right? You suggested that it’s time to get a new laptop for myself since my dinasaur aged laptop is due for a change. Right right right?? Yeahhhhh!!! You’re paying for it!!

I’m sooooooo……….. excited with my new ‘baby‘! Really, really. But I definitely still cherish my old notebook.Even though it has aged tremendously, it definitely has served me well over the years when I was doing my Bachelor & it has never ever once fail me. I still remember clearly when I was heavily pregnant & continuing my classes, i did all my presentation with my dinosaur notebook. Sigh……… those were the days.

Then, life has to move on. Now I need a better performance machine to continue serving me for the many years to come. I do not intend to get rid of my old notebook, and from what I’ve heard, it won’t even fetch me more than a $100 for the old junk. So, I’ll just keep it to remind myself that without the old ‘one’, I wouldn’t have made it this far. And moreover, it was a gift from my dear hubby to encourage me to continue with my education!! It has a sentimental value, precious one too.

I haven’t really got down to playing with my new toy but from a peek at the new software, it definitely offers much more than what I expected. Felt a bit lost because the new Window looks a bit alien to me but I’m sure I’ll expertise it in no time.

Rainer was laughing at me last night, saying I’ll have less time for him & Ethan, my boy, because I’ll be stuck to my new toy. I assured him again and again that I’ll only play with my new toy when I have the extra time. Really!!

So, I’ll be spending maybe, let’s say an hour or two every night, to get to know my new notebook, starting from tonight!! Yipeeeeeee…………….
