I’m finally home from my short vacation to Malaysia! Oh, I had lots of fun catching up with my family and friends and I ate all my favorite food like crazy! *laugh* I’m already missing my home country the moment we landed in Singapore. But I’ll definitely be going back again soon.

Anyway, I’d like to share my Project Life spreads which I’ve completed before I made my trip. For Week 19 and 20, I used Becky Higgins Midnight Edition core kit. I printed the cards from the digital version available in AC Digitals on white art paper weighing 250gsm I purchased from my local art store, Art Friend.

I tried to keep them as clean and simple as possible, just adding bits and pieces of embellishments onto the cards and I completed these two weeks’ spreads in good time, just slightly over 2 hours.

Right now I’m just about 3 weeks behind and I’m planning to catch up with my July kits from Studio Calico that just arrived yesterday. I can’t wait to dive in and play with them this weekend!

I hope you’re doing good with your Project Life and enjoying your documentation every minute. I certainly do and after 5 months into it, I’m getting the hang of it and love every moment when I sit down to put my spreads together. It gets easier each time and I always look forward to it.

Hey there! I’m back and I can’t wait to share my PL spreads with you again. With the reveal of Studio Calico Roundabout kits just a few days ago, I’ve been trying to squeeze some time to come in here but life have been busy as always. Nonetheless, I hope you’ll enjoy what I have in store for you today.

These Roundabout kits and the add-ons for this coming June are absolutely gorgeous! The PL cards, patterned papers and embellishments in these kits are some of my all time favorite to date. There are also lots of wonderful colors in there, especially my favorite color, orange.

For this June, I ordered the Roundabout Project Life Kit, Roundabout Card Kit, Savannah Shore (SB add-on#3) and the Cumberland Gap (PL add-on).

Oh yeah, you’re going to love what they have in store for you! I had an amazing time playing with all the kits that I ordered and would love to share a few sneaks of what I’ve put together for my project life spreads.

For the above sneaks, I used only the main Project Life Kit and printable.

And for the three sneaks above, I used a mix of the main Project Life kit, Card kit, Savannah Shore (SB add-on3), Cumberland Gap (PL add-on) and also the gorgeous Marcy Penner and Maggie Holmes kits from the “Happy Little Moments” class.

Yes I know, it’s been like what, 8 days since I was last seen on this planet? *laugh* And now that I’ve returned to earth, after much of dramatic turn of events in the past week, I’ve finally managed to pull my soul back to reality.

If you’ve been following my Instagram feed, I had the misfortune of getting my right hand fingers slammed by a heavy wooden with marble dining chair at home as I slipped on a wet floor (long story) and I’m on the road to recover but still haven’t regain full use of my last two fingers yet (no fractured bones thank God!!), my DH and I had been dealing with some issues that my dear son Ethan is facing in school (in case you’re new to my blog, Ethan was diagnosed with high functioning autism since he was 4), we had to handle the change in his behavior due to verbal “bullying” by an exceptionally rotten classmate of his, lots of discussion with his form teacher and his special need officer in school and of course, an emergency appointment with his regular child psychologist Dr Jennifer King to see what we can do best to help him cope with the unwarranted stress from bullies, also changes in his P3 syllabus and him being stress again from all the exams.

Phew! That was one lengthy sentence all put together to describe what is going on right now in my life and my family.

Sometimes I just wonder how on earth did I cope with all of these, on top of my full time job, my online shop, etc. in 24/7 and still manage to stay alive, keeping up a good spirit, stay positive and wears a big fat smile on my face! Hah! No wonder I can’t put on weight over these years with all the exciting events going on in my life. Well, I take it as a good thing that I don’t have to spend money keeping myself fit and trimmed all the time, not having to sweat my ass off to work out a good ab. *laugh*

Well, that’s life and we just have to move on. Life is not a bed of roses. Sometimes yes but most of often it’s not. I’ve seen and been through enough of challenges in the entire 40 years of my life to write a biography. But if I don’t go through this ups and down, I think I’ll take things for granted, thinking that life is always smooth sailing and I’m guaranteed a happy ever after life. I’m just thankful and glad that I’m always being challenged in my every awakening moment and how it have strenghtened my character over the years. I’ve become the person I am right now, thanks to all the obstacles and challenges I had to overcome, in every good possible way.

Ok, enough of life philosophy, let’s move on to the main reason of getting this blog post up. My project life of course!!

Oh, how I’ve missed getting my project life spreads updated! I’m slowly catching up for sure. Slow but I’m getting there.

This Week 17 have been a complete joy, having to play with Studio Calico new Atlantic collection which was released a few weeks ago. I’m completely blown away by the colors and designs of the papers and embellishments! They’re absolutely gorgeous and easy to work with. It gave me a kickstart to catch up with my spreads and this collection made it so easy for me to complete my pages within a couple of hours.

How’s your weekend so far? I hope you’re having a good one. It’s Sunday May 12 right here in Singapore, which means we’re celebrating Mother’s Day on this beautiful day! I had a great day with my boys, lunch with my cousins and I’ve also received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from my sweet lovely boys last night! I’m truly blessed to have them in my life, couldn’t have asked for more. They shower me with lots of love, hugs and kisses every single moment, I hear “I love you Mommy” every single day from them, and they always treat me like a queen. *laugh* Love them so much!

To all the Mommies out there, here’s wishing you a wonderful Mother’s Day!
