Hello all! I’m finally back from my vacation to paradise! Yes, Krabi is indeed a paradise and how I wish this holiday doesn’t have to end so soon. We love everything about the place, the clear blue/green sea, the powdery sand, the people, food and of course the sun as well! We ate, rested, swam, snorkelled, went on island hopping & shopping through out the 4 days in Krabi. We enjoyed our 4 days in Krabi very very much even though it was only a short stay. We came home looking tanned or you could say ”burned” like barbequed red lobsters (especially me!! *laugh*) and we’re re-energized. We’ve spent a lot of quality time together especially with our son Ethan. So, here’s a quick look at our days in Krabi in a glimpse.
I hope you’re having a fab week so far. Right now, I’m already back at work and looking forward to the weekend which is coming soon! (it’s Thursday here) I’ll be back real soon with lots of updates the next few days and in the next couple of weeks, including a new release of my flair buttons this See ya soon!

It looks beautiful ! Yes, you heard me right! I am so elated when I received this awesome news from Scraplicious! *doing the happy dance* Hahahaha…………….. As I am writing this post now from my work place office (don’t tell my boss I’m stealing some time off), the shipment has cleared the customs and landed in the store already! I received another first-hand update via whatsapp with pictures of the goodies! *laugh* Sooooooo…………… residents of Singapore, you will be the first in the world to get your hands on the all new Becky Higgins Project Life kits!! Yay!! *happy dance again* Here are the new goodies that will be available on the shelves at Scraplicious store at Parkway Parade this weekend! A lot of them have been pre-ordered and not many will be left on the shelf, as I’ve been warned. So, better grab one or two or more for yourselves before they’re all gone. My heart is still pumping fast with excitement seeing all of these coming into town! Oh oh, don’t go yet because I have more to share! My heart stopped a beat when I first saw these mini albums! Aren’t the colors gorgeous? These mini albums measure 8″ x 8″ with photo pocket pages sewn in. They’ll be perfect for projects like December Daily, A Week In Life etc. I am so getting the red and green ones, for myself or as gifts to friends.
Phew! Now I can start to breathe normally again after absorbing all the wonderfulness of these amazing goodies! I simply can’t wait to see them in real life, which I’ll be doing a review soon. Scraplicious has been really gracious, allowing me to review some of these new editions, including the baby kits, which I’ll be sharing them too with some samples. I’ll be leaving on a nice vacation on Sunday with my two boys and spend some wonderful time with them, away from the city. I’m so hoping to get some tan while I’m in Krabi, Thailand. Yes, we’re heading there and we’re all so exited about it especially my dearest son Ethan. Once I’m back from my vacation, I’ll be re-energized (I hope!) and will start to get this blog up and running again. It’s been a while since I post regularly and I’ve got some good things coming up real soon! Stay tuned for my post again when I return next week. While I’m gone, my shop will be closed as well from Friday onwards. It will re-open when I return and there will be a new release of flair buttons for the month of December. WHHHHATTTT I am SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SUPER GREEN!!! I am pacing back and forth here in the states saying MAN this is gonna take FOREVER I want to use the Seafoam for 2013 but do I have the patience to wait Ha. I’ll probably start my PL w/just the page protectors until I can get my hands on that & I want the childhood ones too OHHH MY GOSH I AM SOOO GREEN!!!

I super love Seafoam too… and it’s still not available for US, tho! am thinking of starting PL next year but still undecided… LOL… I buy their albums to keep my scrapbooking layouts When I decided to take a break from scrapping this year, apart from my Project Life, I didn’t know how long the break will last. I have no idea when I’m ready to pick up conventional scrapping of layouts, albums etc again. I’m just happy doing Project Life alone. I love the fact that Project Life layout enables me the flexibility to document my life on a weekly basis, adding just pictures, journaling and of course some of my favorite embellishments. Yes, I do miss creating layouts like I used to for many years, but doing something different can be a good change. So, when I was scheduled to submit a short article for {entreARTistes} Magazine, I was stumped. For the first time, I panicked! I asked myself “What shall I do? I have not create any projects at all this year, not even a card!”. I was unsure if I could make something for the magazine. I was afraid that I couldn’t get it started at all. Let me tell you, I was lost. Absolutely lost. Darn, I told myself by hook or by crook, I need to make something. Anything at all, whether or not if I could coordinate papers and embellishments, whether I could pick the right colors etc., I have no time to think and worry too much. I think in situation like this, when I’m given no choice, I am ”forced” to work under “pressure” with anything I could grab hold of! *laugh* Which means I have to create something whether I’m able to or not. Moving forward, here’s the vacation mini album I made for {entreARTistes} Magazine’s latest issue. When I created this album, I had in mind I’d like to bring along a completed mini album with me on my upcoming vacation to Krabi with my family. The album was in made in a way where I can just insert my polaroid pictures that will be taken while we’re there, right onto the pages and I’ll just add some journaling about the trip. And when I’m back, I’ll have a completed mini album for memory keeping of the trip!
Oh, before I proceed with the rest of the pages, please be aware that this post will be heavily loaded with TONS of pictures of my mini! It’ll take you some time to go through the whole post, if you don’t mind. For this 4 x 6 album, I used a lot of my favorite My Mind’s Eye Follow Your Heart paper collection and some Crate Paper scraps from my stash. I love the graphic design and color of both brands. They’re so versatile and easy to match with the October Afternoon embellishments that I used. My other favorite embellishments that I used are the white vellum paper, paper doily and doily die-cuts, brads, manila tags, and of course my own flair buttons, the Hello Life, Click It, Noteworthy, Icon, Travel and Honeycomb & Chevron collections. Love seeing them on my own projects! And not to forget that I also used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out some of my favorites words and phrases. You will also notice that this album is categorized into 4 sections with each separator cards, which I used my Cameo to cut out words for the categories. I decided to categorize them into Places We Go, Food We Ate, Our Favorites and Where We Stay, makes the album a little more interesting when I add the polaroid pictures into the pages.

I would love to see it with all the pictures in it. Its a lovely idea…to have the album ready before the trip. I’ve done this too and find it so much easier to document the trip right away. Wont forget the little details then, right?
